How to check the CPU temperature ?

Often time , i like to know my computer, motherboard or CPU temperature. It’s will be better if some utility tools provide the functionality to show all my processors or CPU temperature ~

Here is the two free tools that i used to check my CPU temperature

Core Temp

Software Name : Core Temp

The Core Temp does exactly what we want, it just shows temperature of each individual core in each processor in our system! It’s simple and straightforward. In addition , it’s just a standalone executable file, we just need to double click it to run the program

Are there any Java API for the same purpose?

I found HWMonitor at http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor-pro.html more light-weight and portable

I use speedfan, and find it works very well. It helped to diagnose the problem with my PC rebooting randomly, as the temperatures it displayed were :

Temp 1 26 C (normal)
Temp 2 74 C (too hot)
Temp 3 51 C (too hot)
HD 0 40 C (normal)
HD 1 43 C (normal)

recommended software, because it eliminates a cause of potential PC problems.
