If possible also add Google Buzz button, i have seen it on several website!! http://mashable.com/2010/02/15/google-buzz-wordpress/
I’m using the small images > above content option. I want the images to be on the right, not on the left. Is there a way to get the images pushed to the right?
I’ve tried “float right” but that wraps the content around the images, which I do not want.
I want the images above the content, but to the right – as it is now by default, they are pushed left.
I’ve tried altering all of the CSS that I know to do – any help would be great!
Thanks
You can see what I mean by looking at http://socialmediaseo.net
thanks again
i want to make it like mashable.com . On Mashable’s site, in their post pages (not the home page), there’s a floating widget to the left of the content that descends as you scroll down below the fold, but doesn’t ascend above a certain point.
I’d love to replicate this, but their site is so clogged with code that I’m having a really hard time parsing apart the (javascript) scripting that’s controlling this.
Thoughts or any help identifying the moving parts?

check my site http://enewsz.com/2010/02/nobody-was-harmed-google-ceo/
Looks like you figured it out (just checked your site). How did you accomplish this?
hey let us add Google Buzz button. i am waiting to see tat with digg digg.
Since GoogleBuzz is getting popular, I wish there was option for a Buzz button similar to this: hameedullah.com/wordpress/wpbuzzer, in diggdigg plugin.
Thank you!
Hey buddy, great plugin! but, please add Google Buzz option, don’t make us install a second plugin
Thank you!
Are you adding Google Buzz integration?
Are the outgoing links No Follow by default?
If not how can i
I second and third the motion to add Google Buzz. Please don’t make me install two separate plugins to do what one can do.
with v3.4 released, now everything in one digg digg ~
I really like the plugin but is it possible to add Google Buzz?
yes, upgrade the digg digg to v3.4
I installed the latest version on my Wordpress blog, but neither the buttons nor any Settings menu is appearing. Any idea what the problem might be?
It’s working now. Just one request: Can you add an option for Google Buzz as well?
digg digg v3.4
hey Yong Mook,
i’ve seen there is another user with the same prob like me:
**
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CLASS in /www/htdocs/v160755/weblog/wp-content/plugins/digg-digg/dd.class.php on line 5
**
any idea for this, please check my link to the phpinfo.php
Thanks a lot
i would like to add a rel=”nofollow” on the html of the links this pluggin creates. Any idea on how to do that?
will implement in next version
[...] have a few options when it comes to how to insert a Digg Button on your site. You can use the Digg Digg WordPress Plugin, the Digg It WordPress Plugin, or by bypassing the plugin path all together and coding it yourself. [...]
Thanks for making this great plugin, I am glad you did – it has really increased interaction on my sites that I have it installed on.
I have just one question though – why did you choose to use Tweetmeme instead of Backtype Tweetcount. I switched many of my sites to Backtype Tweetcount because it does NOT require you to authorize yet another service to be able to tweet page like Tweetmeme does.
Could you add support, and give an option in the backend to use Tweetmeme OR Backtype Tweetcount? That would be awesome!
Hi don,
Thanks for your suggestion, the reason i choose tweetmeme is because it is the only tool i know for the tweeter, will definitely look into the backtype, and ye your suggestions are invaluable to this plugin future development, thanks and really appreciated it.
Please please please feature request: add Google Buzz button.
Wow, you act so fast, my gmail account just prompt me for buzz as well, ya..definitely will look into it.
For the homepage posts, the link for “comment” is http://www.mysite.com/#respond, but I need http://www.mysite.com/permalink#respond. Any ideas on how I can adjust this?
Great plugin otherwise.
You may need to hack it yourself, inside the digg digg folder, modify the ‘dd.class.php’ file and change the #response text.
Original
const COMMENTS_RESPONSE_ID = “#respond”;
Modified
const COMMENTS_RESPONSE_ID = “whatever#respond”;
Thanks for the response!
I need the link to dynamically create the permalink structure. My permalink structure happens to happens to be /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.html
Any ideas?
I’m having the same issue. My comment thread is /%year%/%month%/%day%/%postname%/#comments
Any thoughts on how to make this happen?
upgrade to v3.4 will do
Please visit my site http://mandeeptech.co.cc/2010/02/animated-movies-ruling-oscars-2010/
Sir i dont know why there is one red button sign on behind every button of Digg digg button? which is not good looking. this not happened when i installed other digg or reddit button.
“installed other digg or reddit button” means when i use digg o mine and reddit plugin individually , now i uninstall it
See my replied for @oli, you need to override the digg digg style li background image, however this is included in the next release. Sorry for the inconvenient caused.
Installed and works fine. Great WP plugin!
uu ooh, thats strange.
I thoughtmy testarea is a mirror from my live wp-system. I tested there a lot of tweaks and plugins, designs and other things before i put them into my live system.
Now works DiggDigg very well on my testsystem and produce this error on my lifesystem when i activate it:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CLASS in /www/htdocs/v160755/weblog/wp-content/plugins/digg-digg/dd.class.php on line 5
I’ve deactivated all plugins and activate DiggDigg first. Same error?
Any idea?
Digg Digg is required PHP5 to support abstract class feature, your hosting may using old PHP version, may consider upgrade it.
sorry but this is not the answer, my hosting is on php 5 and mysql 5. DiggDigg works well on my testsystem but not live.
Any other idea? Please see the comment below.
Thank you
Issit? That’s weird, what i can said is your hosting is not support the ‘abstract class’ feature (need PHP5). Would you mind to consult your hosting about it? As i would like to know the reason as well.
Hey, yes it is. This is an list of the available PHP and MySQL versions from my hoster:
***
PHP Versionen
5.2.12 / 5.2.12 / 4.4.9 / 5.3.1
MySQL Version
5.0.51a
***
very strange because on my testsystem it works well. Same Theme, same child theme, same plugs …
here is the links to the phpino.php files
http://dd18624.kasserver.com/infophp.php
Did you fix this? I’m getting the same error
How could i dont display the list bullets.
I tried the list way and there are the bullets from normal lists.
On the table way there is an ugly border, same taht was defined from my hybrid theme.
Please look at http://oli.pixeltunes.de/?p=1775
Thanks a lot
Your theme has a backgroud image (bullet) for normal lists.
Please modify the diggdigg-style-ul.css in digg digg folder by adding a new line ‘background-image:none;’
#dd_right ul li {
background-image:none;
background-color:transparent !important;
border:0 none !important;
list-style:none outside none !important;
margin:0 !important;
outline:0 none !important;
padding:4px !important;
}
This will be include in the next released.
yeah, that’s it.
I’ve worked on the wrong file
Not on … ul-style.css but on the … style.css
*narf*
Thanks a lot for your help, i’m heading to the next doc for update my eye’s.
Upgraded to v3.3.1
Works well except Tweetcount doesn’t update for me?
received your email and replied.
Can you please explain installation steps #2 & #3 to me like I’m 4 years old? I have no experience with code.
Thanks,
Joe
#2 define the buttons display in vertical or horizontal order. Like my site is using the horizontal order.
#3 define the html code display in ul or table style, just using the default will do.
try select the options and test the output to suit your needs. Hope help
Yea, the horizontal and vertical alignment is off for me now too. Specifically yahoo buzz is out of whack. Http://www.bokay.net
Also:
placeholder var fbShare = {url: ‘http://www.bokay.net/”category”/”postname”‘,size:’large’}
still shows up in my RSS feed.
This happens with the old and new version. Anyone have a fix or is a fix coming soon by chance?
digg digg suppose not to generate the button in RSS feed, would you mind to send me your RSS feed for further investigate? Thanks.
Sure, you can look at this one.
Just a FYI, my main feed works fine, its only my category feeds that do not work.
And on second look, they may be working in wordpress but they do not work in feedburner.
http://www.bokay.net/category/2010-resolutions/feed/
Thank you for your help
Um, yeah… reverting to old version. Will update to new one once it’s actually working right!
Yeah, thanks for the great plugin but make sure the new release allows for the buttons to be positioned horizontally as well as vertical. Messed up my site when I updated the plugin.
Really sorry for this issue, this is high chance caused by the css cache. Please consider upgrade to v3.3.1, which include :
1. Choose table (old version) or ul (new version) layout
2. Append version number to avoid css cache
Thanks.
Um, people, it’s easy to revert to v3.2.3, which you can download above.
Your ul addition was unnecessary. I had to deactivate the plugin in the meantime. Changes like that should be beta before releasing to the public.
Yes , you are absolutely right, however, there seem do not have any beta released feature in Wordpress plugin, may be i should append a “beta” word next time
.
Please consider upgrade to v3.3.1, see @Carrie answer above.
Thanks.
WoW! This plugins is all fucked up now with the new update, tue buttons only show in vertical mode and not horizoantal, each one have a big black dot next to the buttom as they are a list… i stop to use this until the creator fix it, it used to be a sweet sweet plugin… not anymore
try upgrade to v3.3.1, see @Carrie answer above
And now is fixed! thanx for the quick response! keep it up!
i updated digg digg to newer version 3.3.Now the badges are displayed in vertical only,can’t change it to horizontal.
caused by css cached, consider upgrade to v3.3.1, see @Carrie answer above
I just got notified on the new version. However when I update, I get a fatal error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ”’ in /var/www/html/hightechdad/wp-content/plugins/digg-digg/dd.class.php on line 457
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
hi ,
Bug fixed, consider upgrade to v3.3.1. Thanks
Thanks, I installed the update and it activated fine.
