Adsense Daemon WordPress Plugin
Adsense Daemon is a WordPress plugin that is used to integrate “Google Adsense” into blog content easily.
I had used few Google Adsense WordPress plugins, and found out many of those will hijack and replace my Google Adsense code with theirs. This inspired me to create this simplest solution to integrate Google Adsense into blog content.
Just copy your Google Adsense code, paste it and configure how and where you want to display. It’s will directly display what you put into the template box.
Features
Setup screen provided to let user choose where user want to display the Google Adsense. With following features :
- 7 pre-define display options.
- Left Float Content
- Right Float Content
- Before Content
- After Content
- After 1st paragraph
- After 2nd paragraph
- Random paragraph
- Display only for posts published after xx days. (configurable).
- Do not display it to users from certain website e.g digg.com (configratable).

Thanks for the plugin, it worked, i’ll always consider it
Indeed, a great plugin, congratulations for it. Just a question now: why the ads are shown only on inner pages(individual posts) but not on home page ? I use excerpts for the home page displaying the excerpts for 10 posts, can be this a reason ? Thanks !
Currently, it’s not display in the excerpts mode. btw Google is limited to 3 Adsense ads only, it’s really not make sense to display it in homepage, unless you have a very strong reason to do so.
Hi,
Just wanted to let you know this is one of the best adsense plugins I have ever used!
Thanks…and keep up the good work!
Alex.
This might actually work for me – is there a way to only display certain ads in posts, depending on the author? Such as, #1 Daemon Template will only show in posts from Author #1, #2 Daemon Template only shows in posts from Author #2, and so on. Is this doable?
Absolutely, thanks for your idea, will implement it in future.
Wow – thanks! If you can actually get it to work, that would be amazing. Seriously; I’ve been trying to accomplish this and every single plugin has failed me. Thank you again!
I installed this plugin and getting following error when click on “Adsense Daemon”
“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
I am using WordPress 3
Folder permission for the AdsenseDaemon is 755… Files inside was having 644… I even changed those file permissions to 755 … but still it doesn’t work.
v2.2 released, for WordPress 3.0 compatible
I just upgrated the plugin from Admin but still it shows same error
Ok. I just changed the file permissions of “Adsense-Daemon.php” to 755 again and it worked
how to integrate this plugin into WordPress MU ?
Never try in WordPress MU before, is this not working? or what’s your requirement?
Hi, I have the same trouble (You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.) I have used the plugin on another wordpress on a hostgator server and it was fine. The one I am working on now is a Hostmonster server and I think it may be a newer wordpress version. (2.9.2)
Any way to fix it?
When you hits this error message? During plugin activation? or access the setting page? Please double confirm the adsense daemon plug-in folder you uploaded to your hosting have the same permission with other plugin folder.
Thanks, It is when accessing. (settings->Adsense Daemon) It seems to have the same permission setting. The adsense-daemon folder is 755. The files within it are 644.
Guess I should mention I am using BuddyPress!
Hi,
I was using this plugin and it was working well so long. Last week i had upgraded my WordPress program and thereafter it is not working. If i go to the settings and click on Adsense Daemon it gives me the following error.
“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
Could you please let me know what to do.
Thanks & Regards
Madhan.
Is this only happened to Adsense Daemon? how about other plugins?
Thanks for the update. But all the configurations I had from 1.2 got wiped out. Good plugin, maybe you could add ads before the 3th,4th, Xth paragraph of a post ? Is it easy to mod the plugin to do this ?
Regards,
EASantos
Sorry for that. This is a good suggestion, will implement it in next release.
Thanks for implementing my suggestion!
