JDBC PreparedStatement – Create a table

A JDBC PreparedStatement example to create a table in the database.

CREATE TABLE EMPLOYEE
(
    ID serial,
    NAME varchar(100) NOT NULL,
    SALARY numeric(15, 2) NOT NULL,
    CREATED_DATE timestamp with time zone NOT NULL DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP
    PRIMARY KEY (ID)
);

Output

A table 'employee' is created.

P.S Tested with PostgreSQL 11 and Java 8
